The Lord spoke to me recently that He is preparing His house for a greater glory. God doesn’t want you to have just a visitation of His presence in your life. He wants you to experience a habitation.
You will have a constant awareness of His presence. There will be an abiding power within you that will overflow constantly around you. It won’t just be occasionally sensing God’s presence when you are in church. It will be a 24/7 habitation of His glory in your life. You will wake up in His glory, live your day in His glory and sleep soundly overshadowed by His presence.
While I was in prayer the Holy Spirit resonated this scripture in my spirit. And there is A LOT God is speaking in it.Hag 2:2-9“Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying, 3 ‘Who is left among you who saw this house (temple) in its former glory?
And how do you see it now? Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison? 4 But now be courageous, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord, ‘be courageous also, Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and be courageous, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ declares the Lord of hosts. 5 ‘As for the promise which I made with you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit stands [firm and immovable] and continues with you; do not fear!’ 6 For thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Once more, in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 7 I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the desirable and precious things of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory and splendor,’ says the Lord of hosts. 8 ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts. 9 ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I shall give [the ultimate] peace and prosperity,’ declares the Lord of hosts.”FOUR PROMISES
Zerubbabel, the governor, and Joshua, the high priest were setting out to rebuild the house of God. God spoke 4 things to them and to all the people.
1. Be strong and courageous! Operate from a place of divine strength and grace. Be bold and strong.
2. Work! Partner with God in divine activity.
3. I am with you and will abide continually with you! You are not alone!
4. Do not fear! My Spirit will continue with you and give you an inner strength to stand and not to be intimidated by the enemy or back down.
THINGS WILL SHAKE
God says that everything that has not been built by His hand will be shaken. Nations will shake, the earth will shake and the heavens will shake. Don’t be dismayed or fearful of this shaking. It must happen so the GREATER GLORY can come. God is purifying His house and removing everything not built by the Holy Spirit.
BUT IN THE MIDST OF THIS SHAKING THERE IS A GREATER PROMISE! GREATER GLORY IS COMING.
The latter glory will be greater than the former. No matter what you have experienced of God up to this point, it will pale in comparison to the glory that will visit and fill the house of God and your life! And it won’t just be a visitation, it will be a HABITATION. Not is the time to let God shake, purge and cleanse everything that will hinder you from this increase. Even your home will be filled with an abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. Children and extended family members will feel its impact. God isn’t leaving anyone out!
OH…AND THE GOLD AND SILVER ARE MINE!
Right in the middle of these prophetic declarations, God throws in there…AND THE GOLD AND SILVER ARE MINE. God is saying that you will experience a divine provision. The gold follows the glory. Wherever God’s glory abides, there is an attraction for divine provision and blessing. Many will come under an open heaven where God will pour out such a blessing they won’t be able to contain it! It will overflow with more than enough! Wow!!!
